Rockfall Netting
Rockfall netting is hexagonal wire mesh supplied in the form of roll installed on cliff, slope or mountain. It is woven by low carbon steel wire, stainless steel wire or galfan wire with the surface of galvanized, PVC coated or galvanized plus PVC coated. Its mainly application is prevent rocks and debris from falling onto roads, railways or other buildings. On the top of the cliff, there must be a row of rock bolt to fix the mesh. Hexagonal wire mesh could be one layer or two layers, usually has steel wire rope ring or steel wire rope and rivet to fix. Galvanized or galfan rockfall netting is the most popular.
